Glen Pounder

Glen Pounder is the Chief Safeguarding Officer at Scouting America, leading national efforts in youth protection, policy development, training, survivor engagement, and legislative strategy. With over 30 years in global law enforcement and child protection, he previously served as COO of the Child Rescue Coalition, where he helped expand international operations and develop technology targeting encrypted abuse and live streaming crimes.
Earlier in his career, Glen spent six years in Portugal as the UK’s Law Enforcement Liaison, where he played a key role in launching the multinational anti-drug task force MAOC-N. A fluent Portuguese speaker, he holds a Master’s in Internet Law and Policy from the University of Strathclyde.
As a founding board member of Raven, Glen continues to drive global strategies and innovation in the fight against child sexual exploitation.
